Let us compile a guide for these "hard to find" lost cities. Please, do contribute if you can.

Lost City of The Aztecs!
Search East of Gran Granada...

Oooo. This could get sticky quite quickly. You _do_ understand that the Lost Cities, Named Pirate Treasures, Missing Relatives, and Montalban's Hideout all move around every game? And sometimes a given location is in an overlap area, like "South of Campeche" can overlap with "East of Villahermosa".

Generally what helps most to decide where to look is the completed map itself. (Sometimes, even before a map is complete or the "Look....." has been determined, it's possible to recognize the location just from seeing a bit of coastline.) And at this time, there are understandably very few people that would benefit from such an anthology. Given how much work it would be to pull all the "Where is..." posts together....

 I once had a Statistics professor give me an article entitled, "Sometimes, Not Doing It Well Is Good Enough". That might apply here.

BUT, if you're feeling ambitious and want to tackle the project, we could see about adding it to the Useful Charts & Tables sticky.

The only way to cheat is to load last arrival (Shift + A) and dance/gift/duel fiancé again, if on the given map is not visible the coastline.

Maps without coastline on it are hard to find, but when you got map with coastline, it might happen the same thing as to me: you drop anchor, step out from your ship and the „Lost“ city is visible from that spot.

The same cheat (load last arrival) can be used to get these part of equipment (swords and other fencing tools like cuirass) instead of these not so urgently needed (concertina...).
