Hi,

I need some help finding the last of the Lost cities. The Olmec one. I've got the entire map, all 4 parts but it's not a lot of help.

It says it's North West of Gran Granada. Ok, I know where Gran Granada is, easily found. But other than that I cannot for the life of me find that last damn city. It's really getting on my nerves. The map doesn't really give any useful landmarks that can be used to find the city. It's near a body of water but I can't figure out where that lake/sea/ocean is.

I've looked "North West" of Gran Granada. Dozens of times. I've walked up and down the entire South American Continent, over Central America into North America. I've been all over.

The map is in the attachment.

I hate it when this game (which I love) gives such cryptic maps. Saying it's North West of Gran Granada is about as precise as saying that it lies somewhere on the Continent.

I've nearly completed the entire game. I've got all 4 relatives, got the highest rank everywhere, all pirates, all treasures, all wealth points and found the hideout and won. This is one of the last things I need to do before I can retire.

I'd really appreciate any help you can offer.

"Northwest of Gran Granada" is actually a rather large area. In this case, it's probably actually NNW. Draw a straight line from GG up to the Caribbean coast, and then look West of there, a short distance from the coast. That large body of water MUST be the Caribbean, as there are no other inland bodies of water that large.

FYI, "NW of GG" extends all the way to where the Yucatan intersects with the West-East shelf of the Honduran coast. That area by the intersection is half the time described as "SE of Campeche" and the other half as "NW of GG." But as I said, "NW of GG" extends from that intersection, Eastward until you're almost exactly due North of GG.

My first post, but that looks like the NW tip of Central America before you go into Mexico. Just cruise to the western end of that horizontal line north of Gran Grenada and start looking for the landmarks. I'm assuming you already know this, but just in case... Your telescope is very handy when looking for lost cities or Montalban's hideout. Find a landmark that's on your map and scan from there, preferably from high ground.
