x) Registrations now requires admin approval due to spammers - which means it could take a day or two before your account gets activated. You still have to confirm your email beforehand.
x) Guests should now be able to use the downloads system - please send me an email if it doesn't work
Also, if you haven't been approved within 2 days from registration - send me an email. We get around 50 new spam-registrations a day, and it's sometimes hard to differ "real" usernames and the fake spam-names.

Could you please let me know what kind of "zip" file you use for downloads? I had been doing ok with WinZip, then I made an error of trying to open 1 using "notepad" so now I only get gibberish when download anything. Is there anyone who can tell me best way to sort this? I am 59 and not been long with internet. Must admit, this forum is magic! love being able to use new sails_until I caused error. I have Sid Meiers Civilation Chronicles, thats why I bought this game. Please help if you can. From a friendly Scot.

right-click on the downloaded file, select "open with..." and then choose winzip (or WinRAR, if you have that installed).

Thanks for the info. I am a 59 year old female who loves playing pc games, especially Sid Meiers because they are so good. Good to have somewhere you can get help, and love the downloads. Got the Scottish "Rampant Lion" on my sail so feel good. Thanks to all you modders.
